The Empire K9 Method
How we've been turning chaotic dogs into calm companions since 2012 — and a free library of real training videos and tips so you can start today, whether you're a client yet or not.
Three Levels. One Calm Dog.
The Method is simple to understand and hard to shortcut. Every dog we train moves through the same three levels.
Level 1
Foundations at Home
Every dog starts where the habits live — your home. We build calm focus, name response, and leash basics in the exact rooms and doorways where the chaos usually happens.
Level 2
Proofing in the Real World
A dog that listens in the kitchen but not at the park isn't finished. We take the training to sidewalks, parks, and busy places until good behavior holds up around real distractions.
Level 3
You Become the Trainer
The dog is only half the team. We coach you hands-on until you can get the same results we do — that's why the training lasts after we leave.

Six Tips You Can Use Before Dinner
Straight from our sessions. Each one takes minutes and works on almost every dog.
Say the name once
Repeating "Max… Max… MAX!" teaches your dog the first two don't count. Say the name once, then help them succeed.
Reward the calm, not just the tricks
Most owners only reward sits and downs. Catch your dog lying quietly and reward that — you'll get more of it.
End walks on a win
Finish the last 30 seconds of every walk with focused, loose-leash walking. Dogs remember how things end.
Two minutes beats twenty
Short, fun sessions a few times a day build skills faster than one long, frustrating one.
Doorways are training gold
Ask for a sit before doors open — front door, crate, car. Free impulse-control practice, built into your day.
Don't pay for jumping
Attention is a reward — even pushing a jumping dog off counts. Turn away, wait for four paws down, then greet.
