About Empire K9
Training Since 2012
I started training dogs when I was 16 years old.
What began with learning around experienced working-dog handlers eventually developed into a career working with everything from family pets to dogs with serious behavioral and aggression problems.
At 20, I traveled to Washington to train under a master handler, learning their training system and gaining valuable experience handling aggressive dogs.
Since 2012, Empire K9 has successfully trained over 1,500 dogs across the Inland Empire. I built that foundation the way experienced trainers really learn:
By working with more dogs.
Different breeds. Different temperaments. Different owners. Different environments. And different behavioral problems. I've been training since 2012, and that hands-on experience continues to shape how I train today.

“Training begins at home.”
Why I Focus on In-Home Dog Training
A dog can be an A+ student at a training facility and still go home and be a menace.
That's the problem. Most owners don't live at a dog-training facility.
That's where the puppy needs to learn the crate. That's where the dog needs manners when someone knocks on the door. That's where impulse control matters.
If we can't establish communication, structure and obedience where you and your dog actually live, taking the dog somewhere else doesn't automatically solve the problem. That's why Empire K9 focuses on private in-home dog training and real-world proofing.
We establish the foundation where it matters and then progress into neighborhoods, parks and appropriate public environments as the dog and owner become ready.
Experience Gives You a Bigger Toolbox
Dog training isn't one-size-fits-all.
Every dog adds something to the toolbox. Since 2012, I've worked with different breeds, temperaments, behavioral problems and training environments.
If one approach isn't getting through to the dog in front of me, I'm not limited to one technique simply because that's the only system I know.
When I come into your home, I'm going to be straightforward with you. If I see something you're doing that's reinforcing the problem, I'll point it out. Most owners aren't intentionally creating problems — they simply haven't been shown what to do differently.
My job isn't just to work with your dog. My job is to teach you how to work with your dog.
