01Who owner coaching is for
Owners of puppies and adult dogs dealing with everyday problems — jumping, pulling, barking, counter surfing, crate struggles, mouthing, digging, and household rules — who want to learn how to handle them and are ready to practice.
02What happens during a session
We watch the behavior in the place it happens, decide on the priorities, demonstrate the techniques with your dog, and then hand the leash to you so you can practice with guidance.
03What to prepare
Have your dog home, plus the leash, collar or harness, treats, and crate you normally use. If the problem happens at the door or on walks, we can set that up. Write down the questions you want answered.
04Why your participation matters
Your dog lives with you, not with the trainer. The skills hold up when the people at home use the same cues and timing every day, so most of the hour is spent teaching you.
05After the appointment
You leave with clear exercises to practice. Consistent practice is what moves the behavior. If you want more help, follow-up sessions are available.
06When a full program fits better
Serious aggression, bite history, severe anxiety, or several overlapping problems usually need an evaluation and a customized program rather than a single coaching hour.
