Yasim with Empire K9 literally saved the life of my male Boxer. I have a male & female boxers that fought horribly, my male would attack my female violently causing several emergency trips to the Vet for stitches as well as my husband to the ER for breaking up the fights. The fights seemed to be unprovoked & only occurred while we were home. My vet recommended euthanizing my male. I hired a dog trainer that produced no results & it seemed hopeless. My dogs are part of our family & the thought of having to euthanize my male wasn't an option in my opinion. I was desperate & determined not to give up on my male. Thor needed help with several behavior issues, including leash pulling, jumping, respecting boundaries, basic obedience, curb attacking, and chasing small game. Yasin took the time to understand Thor’s behavior and worked with both of us using practical, effective dog training techniques.

What I really appreciated was the in-home dog training. Yasin was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and showed me how to continue working with Thor between training sessions. His approach made a noticeable difference in Thor’s obedience, behavior, and overall control.

I have worked with Empire K9 for over 10 years. I rescue and have fostered many dogs thru the years. I have had aggressive, terrified, fearful, abused, and dogs that are completely shut down. Yasin has been terrific and successful with each one. He is very knowledgeable and so patient with the dogs. I highly recommend this company.

Today we worked with Duke who can be fearful. The progress was amazing. We also worked with Peggy Sue who is extremely fearful and it again was amazing to watch the progress.

Huxley went through the 10 weeks training course with Yasin.

He was reactive on a leash around dogs, didn’t know basic commands, and didn’t have any recall. He was just rescued and adopted. With the training, Yasin took the time to not only train Huxley but us the owner on techniques and tools to help build Huxley’s confidence and commands. Yasin was very patient with us and always prompt with responding to questions and concerns over text.

After 10 weeks, Huxley was such a happy confident pup who didn’t no longer reacted to dogs around him, would recall on command, knows his basic skills. It’s been years and Yasin still follows up with us and Huxley is doing amazing still confident, happy, and following his commands. Yasin has changed our lives! We love him!!

Yasin is very good at reintegration. He helped out two golden retrievers get back together after a rather large scuffle they had. He was able to explain to us what was the cause of their anger and aggression with each other. Seamus our 2-year-old wanted to be the boss and Judson the 7-year-old was not willing to let that happen. 5 months of training and learning to behave like civilized dogs, Yasin has our dogs cohabiting and sharing space together again. Yasin has so much knowledge and cares about the pet parents as much as he does the dogs. Trust the process and you will definitely be surprised of the wonderful outcome you and he can achieve.

We definitely waited way too long to write this review, but I actually think that makes it even more meaningful because it has now been about six months and the training has truly stuck with our pups.

Our pug, Boba, is 6 years old and used to struggle a lot with barking and reactivity. Before working with Yasin, any loud noise, another dog, or even a person walking a few feet away could set him off. Once he started, he would get so worked up he would do that classic pug scream, and no amount of reassuring would calm him down. Walks felt stressful and unpredictable, and we were always bracing ourselves for a reaction.

Training with Yasin completely changed how we approach those situations. He was patient, calm, and really focused on helping us understand why Boba was reacting the way he was instead of just trying to shut the behavior down. The techniques he showed us were practical and easy to apply in everyday life, which made it much easier to stay consistent and see progress.

One moment that really showed us how far Boba had come was a trip we took to Joshua Tree with him and his sister. Before training, bringing the dogs on a trip like that would have felt overwhelming. Instead, it ended up being such an enjoyable vacation. At one point we stood and ate at a restaurant for nearly two hours with several other dogs nearby, some of them reactive, and Boba stayed calm the entire time. He was such a little model citizen. It honestly felt surreal compared to where we started. Because of Yasin, we now feel comfortable bringing our dogs along on trips, something we never thought would be possible.

Boba truly feels like a completely different dog in the best way, and we also feel much more confident as owners. We finally have the tools to manage situations that used to feel overwhelming. If you have a reactive dog or feel stuck with training, we absolutely recommend working with Yasin. His patience and dedication really make a difference.

When we found Yasin we had 2 golden retrievers that were fighting. The younger of the 2, Seamus, was attacking the older boy, Hudson. He was able to assess the situation and recommend a course of action. Now, there is harmony in the home again and both boys are more disciplined. I can't say thank you enough to Yasin. I highly recommend him for any dog behavioral issues or just basic training.

Yasin and Empire K9 is the absolute best! I have used this dog trainer for the last 10 years and he has been a life saver. As of most recently, I was in complete distress because I wasn't going to be able to keep my Rottweiler after she became full size and aggressive with my other dog. Yasin helped me gain control of my Rottweiler by setting boundaries and following simple commands. She is also 100% crate trained thanks to him, something I thought could not be done. Been working with Yasin over 10 years, for multiple different dogs I’ve had. He does phenomenal work, is honest and knows dogs better than anyone I’ve ever met. He's currently helping me to train my young daughter’s German shepherd. He travels to my home in Chino Hills and also helps me with socializing our dog in different places.

Yusin is excellent. He helped train our beloved working line GSD who was. stubborn. More importantly, he traing us how to train the dog. I would highly recommend him and we are looking to use his services again with our new Puppy.

Empire K9 Dog Training has been helping me train my dog, Blue. We've been working with Yasin since September 2025, and I couldn't be happier with Blue's progress. Blue was three years old when I adopted him from the shelter and had been there for two years, essentially his entire life. He had no formal training and several behavioral issues, and he was extremely reactive to other dogs.

I have two Cane corso, Baloo and Leia.

A little background story, I've had them since they were 8 weeks.

I was afraid that they would get parvo, so I never took them out to socialize with people and other dogs.

Baloo and Leia would bark all night and day, if a person walked or car drove by in front of my home, they would react.

When I took them for a walk they would drag me. When anyone was walking their dog from across the street, my corso would explode.

It got to the point that my wife wanted me to get rid of Baloo and Leia (my girls).

I called Empire K9, Yasin. I remember the first day. Yasin ask me to bring out one of the girls. I choose Baloo, he asked why, i told him she was the most aggressive one.

After meeting both of them Yasin told me and explained that Baloo was insecure but not aggressive. Yasin has helped me so much that they no longer react to cars and people walking in front of my home.

I can take both of them on a walk without them reacting to their surroundings.

I can have conversation with others walking the street while Baloo and Leia in a seated and down position.

We are still working on them getting less reactive with other dogs but as for their obedience training they are doing great!

Yasin, Empire K9 is always on time polite and straightforward.

He did not only help me with their obedience training but Yasin explained what to look for in Baloo and Leia posture to help correct them to any circumstance.

Yasin is amazing. I came to him with a broken shelter dog and he helped me build that dogs confidence. To this day my proudest moment is being able to call him at the dog park and my dog listens. I cannot recommend this man enough. He knows his craft.

This review is long overdue, but I couldn't let more time pass without giving Yasin the recognition he truly deserves.

We initially chose Yasin after a simple phone call to discuss our options for training our husky mix. At the time, we were overwhelmed and stressed every other trainer told us the same thing: start as early as possible or else. We were constantly warned about how difficult huskies are, how they're too high-energy, not eager to please, and how this breed has "ruined" people's lives. It was honestly anxiety inducing.

Yasin's approach was completely different--and exactly what we needed. He calmly told us to let our dog be a puppy, to enjoy that stage with our boy, and to focus on building trust and bonding first. He explained that the behaviors we were worried about were normal and that training would come at the right time. That very first phone call lasted 45 minutes. I learned so much, and he didn't charge us a dime. His honesty, patience, and confidence immediately stood out.

What makes Yasin exceptional is that his training is truly tailored to both you and your dog. He takes the time to understand your lifestyle, your goals, and what you want out of training. Yasin is stern but has a very effective teaching style and was exactly what I needed.

We started with 1 initial session when our dog was still a small puppy, then waited until he was about 8 months old to begin a 5 session training package. One of my favorite parts is the flexibility you schedule each session when you and your dog are ready. If you need more time to practice and reinforce what you've learned, you simply wait and schedule the next session when it makes sense.

It's now been over a year and a half since our last session, and I still apply what Yasin taught us every single day. Because of this, we constantly receive compliments on how well-behaved our shepherd husky is he's incredible even off-leash. We can confidently take him anywhere, around anyone, and even around other animals and running prey.

Yasin's training didn't just improve our dog's behavior it strengthened our bond and completely changed how I understand dog training. This has been one of the best investments of my life. It makes life easier, creates a deeper connection with your dog, and allows them to be more engaged with you and the world around them.

We found ourselves in a frustrating predicament when we rescued our second dog (adolescent GSD male) and already had a reactive dominant female GSD/husky mix. Our boy wanted to play nonstop and our girl would escalate to attacking him and occasionally drawing blood. We met a local trainer who recommended $3500 board and train for our girl and $1500 for private lessons for our boy after meeting them on leashes at a park. We didn't feel like it was the right option and wanted a second opinion. Yasin helped train my first GSD years ago and I was able to walk him off leash with perfect manners. Despite us being outside of his usual radius, he came to our home to evaluate their behavior in their usual environment. Yasin gave us guidance and confidence that we could foster a positive relationship between our pups. After a few weeks of implementing changes and putting effort into home training, they can coexist peacefully inside and are able to play safely. We owe Yasin our lives and could not be more grateful!! He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind and well versed in reactive dog behaviors. He stayed consistent over many years and we could not be more lucky.

We brought our golden doodle to Yasin with some behavioral issues we had noticed since we first got him. He was very mischievous with problems counter surfing, resource guarding/aggression, etc. My husband and I were about to have a baby and knew we wanted to correct these behaviors while he was still a puppy before the baby arrived so we did the private 1:1 training. Yasin began helping us to teach him the core obedience concepts and then focused on the specific issues we were facing once our dog knew the basics of obedience. This training made a HUGE difference in our pup and after consistency, we've noticed all of these behavior issues go away and he is amazing with our baby!
