A practical plan for you and your dog

Focused help for the issue in front of you

Bring the issue you are seeing at home, on walks, or in another routine that matters to you.

As your dog is ready, we add neighborhood walks and appropriate real-world practice.

You leave with clear steps to repeat between visits and a better way to handle the problem.

Not every owner is ready to commit to a full training program. Sometimes you have one problem you want help with, or you simply want a professional to look at your dog and tell you where things stand.

The private training session is a single, two-hour appointment built for exactly that.

What you can address in a private session

Use the time for the specific handling, obedience, manners, or household issue where you need coaching.

Who a Single Session Is For

Owners choose a single session for different reasons:

You have one specific issue you want addressed, such as jumping on guests, door manners, crate trouble, or a dog that will not settle.

You just brought home a new puppy and want to start off right without guessing.

You want a professional evaluation of your dog before deciding whether a full program makes sense.

Your dog had training in the past and needs a tune-up.

Whatever the reason, the session is built around your dog and your goals, not a fixed curriculum.

The Session

Private Training Session

$275/One private, 2-hour in-home session
  • Evaluation of your dog and your goals
  • Hands-on training with your dog
  • Marker training and communication foundations
  • Coaching so you can handle your dog yourself
  • A practical plan to follow after the session
  • An honest recommendation on next steps, if any

A focused, hands-on appointment at your home. The session may include:

What Happens During the Session

We start by talking through what you are seeing and what you want to change. Then we work with your dog directly, and just as importantly, we coach you while you handle your dog yourself.

The goal is that when the session ends, you are not left guessing. You leave with a clear picture of your dog, a plan you can actually follow, and skills you practiced with your own hands.

When One Session Is Not the Right Fit

Some situations need more than a single appointment. If your dog has a bite history or shows serious aggression toward people or dogs, please start with a free phone consultation so we can point you toward the right path — usually our aggressive dog training or behavior modification programs.

And if we believe your goals genuinely need a structured program, we will tell you that honestly during the session rather than let you spend money on appointments that will not get you there.

Private Training Session FAQs

Is one session enough to fix my dog's problem?

It depends on the issue. For many everyday problems, a single session gives you a clear plan and hands-on practice that you can build on. Ongoing or more serious issues may need a structured program, and we will tell you honestly which situation yours is.

Can I apply what we cover toward a full program later?

Yes. You may start with a single session and then move into an obedience or behavior program once they see how the training works. The foundations we build in your session carry directly into a program.

Where does the session take place?

At your home. Most of the problems you want help with happen at home, so that is where we start. Depending on your goals, we may also step out to the sidewalk or a nearby area during the session.

My dog has bitten someone. Can I book a single session?

Please start with a free phone consultation instead. Dogs with a bite history or serious aggression need a different starting point, and the consultation lets us point you to the right program safely.

Do you come to homes throughout the Inland Empire?

Yes. Get private in-home training throughout the Inland Empire. We begin where the behavior happens and add public proofing only when your dog is ready.

Which program is the best fit for this service?

The Standalone Training Session is the usual starting point for this goal, but the right plan depends on your dog's history, temperament, and training needs. Request an evaluation so we can recommend the appropriate next step.
